Gym equipment / Flooring
Looking for a rubber gym mat or flooring tiles for your space? Start with the material, mat size and area to cover. Those details shape the price—and help you ask for a useful quote.
Current stock, item prices and order terms need confirmation. Images show flooring examples, not verified products for sale.

Price guide / What matters
A small mat and a full-room floor cannot be priced the same way. The best comparison is for the same usable area and verified specification.
Ask whether the seller quotes per piece, per square foot or for the whole area. Then check if edges, fitting and delivery are included.
Rubber and EVA foam are different. Ask for the material name, density or hardness data when supplied, and the actual product sheet.
Confirm the tile or roll size, stated thickness and number of units needed. Add a realistic allowance for cutting only after the room has been measured.
Transport, upstairs access, trimming and subfloor preparation can change a project quote. Request these as separate lines when relevant.

The detail check
One product photo may hide a lot. Ask to see the edge, top surface and reverse side of the exact mat being quoted. A clear specification is more useful than a broad claim like “heavy duty”.

Individual square or rectangular mats. Compare coverage per tile, edge finish and surface texture.
Pieces join at the edges. Check whether borders and corner pieces are part of the quoted set.
Continuous coverage with fewer joints in many layouts. Check roll width, length and fitting requirements.
Often sold near rubber mats, but not the same material. Ask about use limits before placing heavy equipment on them.
Think beyond the mat
Allow for walkways, doors, machine feet and the way equipment is moved. A home treadmill corner is a different layout from a busy free-weight area.
Flooring alone does not confirm that a building can carry equipment loads or stop noise reaching nearby rooms. Ask a qualified professional when those risks matter.
Before fitting, the actual floor must be checked for level, dryness and material compatibility under the flooring maker's instructions.

Before you choose
Two mats may look close in a photo but differ in size, feel, weight and care needs.
Ask for the material, exact dimensions, thickness, finished edge, pack quantity and any available manufacturer documentation.
A low per-piece price may cover less area. Use the same area unit for a fair quote comparison.
Before paying, confirm current availability, delivery charge, fitting scope, return conditions and any written warranty for the actual item.
