Before requesting a cable
Send photos first. If you have the machine manual or an original part number, include it. Do not dismantle a loaded weight stack just to get a measurement.
Important: Do not guess a cable's strength rating, press on an unmatched end fitting, or replace a machine-specific assembly with loose cable based on diameter alone.
Machine context
Different stations use different cable routes and end connections. The machine type helps identify what to compare; it does not prove that any one cable fits.
Keep the machine out of use if the cable has broken strands, cracked coating, bulges or a separating end. Repair and fitting work should follow the machine maker's instructions.
