Choose the category first
Gym equipment plates may look alike in photos. Their centre opening can tell a different story.
Before asking for a price, share a photo of your barbell sleeve or plate-loading peg. Standard-size and Olympic-style openings are not interchangeable. Finish, thickness and total quantity also change what you should compare.

What a picture should reveal
A shiny hub does not confirm the bore size. Different models use different inserts and tolerances; even plates described as “Olympic” should be checked against your equipment.
Ask for a complete quotation
Bangladesh listings use different price units. Compare like with like before you assume one offer is cheaper.
Brand or model, finish, kg marking, actual specifications and current availability.
One plate, a matched pair, a full set, or a price per kilogram? Request a dated BDT total.
Confirmed centre opening, bar sleeve or loading-peg size, thickness and intended use.
Delivery area, handling for heavy items, written return conditions and any applicable warranty.
Plan where they will live
Plates are heavy to move and awkward to leave on the floor. Before choosing a set, check how and where you will store it. Use the rack or machine manufacturer’s stated loading limits.
